Born and raised in rural Pennsylvania, my first experience professionally was working for a local road house in high school. I went into undergrad intending to become a public school teacher, and though that goal has changed, I do still enjoy teaching others what I know about theatrical carpentry and production. My time at Olney Theatre as an apprentice and staff carpenter further cemented in me a love of teaching and sharing knowledge, which I got the opportunity to do in my position at the George Washington University, and again now as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at West Virginia University.
When I'm not making sawdust, I'm often found playing a video game or board game, crocheting, reading, or spending time with my friends and my cat!
